Your trial, and what happens when it ends

The trial is fourteen days and does not ask for a card. This is the honest version of what happens on day fifteen if you have not added one.

Last updated August 30, 2026

Every account starts with a 14-day trial and no credit card. Not a limited version — the whole product: your funnel is live, alerts fire, leads land in your dashboard.

The banners you will see

The dashboard tells you where you stand rather than making you count days:

When
What you see
More than a week left
A small pill: Trial · N days left. No prompt, no nagging.
A week to four days
The same pill in amber, plus Add payment method.
Final three days
A full-width banner naming the day your trial ends. Dismissible for the session.
Trial ended
A prompt to add a payment method to keep your funnel live.

Once a card is on file, all of that goes away. Nothing follows you around the dashboard after you have paid.

What happens at expiry, in order

If day fifteen arrives with no card, three things happen — and they do not all happen at once, which is the part worth understanding.

1. Your dashboard locks

You get a screen saying your free trial has ended, with one button on it. Nothing is deleted. Your leads are saved. Your funnel setup, branding and pricing are exactly as you left them. It is a lock, not a wipe.

2. Your funnel stays up and keeps working — for two more weeks

This is the part most people do not expect. Your funnel does not go dark on day fifteen. It keeps serving homeowners and keeps capturing leads for roughly 14 more days.

Those leads are held: they are captured and stored against your account, but they do not trigger alerts and they are not visible in the dashboard while the account is locked. The dashboard tells you how many are waiting and how long the window has left.

It means a trial that ran out while you were on a roof for a fortnight has not cost you the leads that came in during it.

3. After that window, the funnel stops taking leads

Once the holding period is up, the funnel stops capturing. It serves a minimal branded page with your business name and phone number rather than a broken link — but nobody can get a quote, and no new leads are collected.

Adding a card releases all of it

There is no support ticket and no reactivation process. Adding a payment method unlocks the dashboard immediately, releases every held lead into it, and turns alerts back on. Everything you set up is still there.

One thing to know about timing
If you add a card after your trial has already ended, the subscription starts right then and the first invoice is charged straight away — there is no fresh grace period. Adding a card during the trial does not charge you early; billing begins when the trial does end.

If a payment fails later

You will see a banner telling you a payment did not go through, with a Manage billing button that opens the payment portal where you can update the card. Sorting it out there resolves it — there is nothing else to do on our end.

Managing your subscription

Billing lives on the Settings page, alongside your alert settings and your login. From there you can reach the payment portal to update your card, review invoices, or cancel.
